Dear Members of the MLS,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to provide you with an update on our efforts to switch back to FlexMLS.

Firstly, I want to express my gratitude to all of you who have signed the petition and expressed your support for this change. We have been in communication with FlexMLS about the possibility of switching back, and they have informed us that they are open to working with us again.

While our MLS has signed a 5-year contract for Matrix with CoreLogic, we are proposing that FlexMLS be added as an additional choice running concurrently next to Matrix. However, to make this option available, there would be an additional monthly fee ranging from approximately $9.00 to $20.00 per member per month. I understand that this may be a concern for some of you, but I wanted to gauge your interest in making this switch given the possible option to do so.

We believe that having the choice to use FlexMLS or Matrix would be a significant improvement for our members and clients. This would allow us to choose the platform that works best for our individual business needs and could potentially improve our efficiency and productivity.

Therefore, if you are interested in making the switch to FlexMLS, we kindly ask that each office/brokerage email a list of their agents, brokers, appraisers, and property managers who would be interested in making the switch. To avoid overwhelming my inbox, we request that one person from each office/brokerage send this list to us by Monday, April 24, 2023. Please note that this does not need to be completed and sent over by the broker-owner or supervising broker. 

Lastly, I would like to mention that the Billings MLS currently offers this dual platform option to its members, and it has been very successful so far.
