Over the past few days, there has been a groundswell of support for a petition to change from Matrix back to FlexMLS, with over 450 signatures gathered so far. This movement has nothing to do with a reluctance to embrace new technology or a "resistance to change." Rather, it is a response to the many issues that have arisen with the Matrix system, which have caused frustration and inefficiency for many users.

As a tech-savvy individual, I am always looking for ways to leverage technology to improve workflows and make things more efficient. However, the current iteration of the Matrix system falls short in many respects. It has been plagued by multiple bugs and glitches, which have made it difficult for users to carry out even basic tasks. This has led to a loss of productivity and a general sense of frustration among many real estate professionals.

Even if the bugs with the Matrix system are eventually resolved, I believe that it is still not worth the switch away from FlexMLS. The latter system has proven itself over time to be reliable and effective, and many users have become accustomed to its features and interface. The switch to Matrix has disrupted workflows and created unnecessary stress for many users, and it is not clear that the benefits of the new system outweigh the costs.

In summary, the petition to switch back to FlexMLS is not a rejection of new technology, but rather a response to the problems that have arisen with the Matrix system. As someone who is deeply invested in the real estate industry and committed to using technology to enhance workflows, I believe that it is important to voice our concerns and advocate for solutions that work for everyone.
