Many students who are enrolled in the above-mentioned degree have planned their family life, career, movements, post-graduate studies and other major life decisions based on the aim to complete the degree at a specific point in time. Having imposed restrictions on the availability of some units (specifically level 2 and 3 units) means that existing year 2 and year 3 students will need between 1 - 4 extra years to graduate. This is simply unacceptable.
