The Issue

Henry Nowak's family has asked that his murder not be used for political gain. Despite this plea for decency, Nigel Farage, a Member of Parliament, irresponsibly fueled tensions by declaring "two-tier policing," a statement that directly sparked riots in Southampton. These riots resulted in injuries to 11 police officers, causing significant distress and damage to the community.

Nigel Farage's words have consequences, and his position allows him to influence many. As public figures, MPs must prioritize peace and order, not incite discord and violence. His reckless comments have not only undermined the police but have also jeopardized public safety and trust within our communities.

The UK Parliament holds the responsibility to ensure that its members uphold the law and ethical standards. By allowing Nigel Farage to continue as a Member of Parliament after such actions, Parliament risks setting a dangerous precedent that incitement to violence is permissible for those in power.

Immediate suspension of Nigel Farage from his parliamentary duties is necessary to demonstrate that inciting violence will not be tolerated in the UK. Such action will not only serve as a warning to other public figures but also help to restore public faith in the integrity of our political system.

I call on the UK Parliament and the Speaker of the House to suspend Nigel Farage from his role as an MP and allow a recall petition to be issued should the people of Clacton wish.

Let us come together to urge the UK Parliament to take this decisive action. By signing this petition, you stand against the use of inflammatory rhetoric and support the call for accountability and justice in our governing institutions. Please sign and share this petition to make our voices heard.
