The Issue
70 YEARS OF ISRAELI COLONIAL OCCUPATION
Witnessing Israel's ongoing GENOCIDE of the Palestinian people in Gaza, and its 70+ year OCCUPATION and APARTHEID in the West Bank has been profoundly distressing, prompting this urgent call for action. Israel continues to violate with impunity the principles enshrined in the United Nations Charter, and multiple UN resolutions, leading to an urgent demand to SUSPEND Israel's membership in the United Nations.
UN RESOLUTIONS ON OCCUPATION VIOLATED
Israel has violated and continues to violate UN resolutions - 446 (1979), 452 (1979), 2334 (2016), 58/292 (2004), 66/225 (2011) concerning its ILLEGAL colonies and the occupation of Palestine.
ICJ ORDERS FOR APARTHEID AND GENOCIDE
(1) 2024 advisory opinion prohibiting Israel's illegal occupation and systematic discriminatory practices amount to APARTHEID imposed on the occupied Palestinian territories.
(2) 2024 order which found it plausible that Israel's acts in Gaza could amount to GENOCIDE - a crime against humanity.
The Court ruled that all other States and international organizations must not recognize the legality of Israel's unlawful occupation and must not assist in maintaining it.
ICC WARRANTS FOR CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY
The International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued international criminal ARREST WARRANTS for Israel's Prime Minister and various Israeli government ministers, for involvement in these CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY. This is not merely a political stance, but a legal directive grounded in international law meant to end impunity and hold wrongdoers accountable for their roles in the systemic oppression and violence against the Palestinian people.
SUSPEND ISRAEL'S UN MEMBERSHIP NOW!!!
Permitting Israel to retain its UN membership constitutes an endorsement of such violations, eroding the credibility and moral authority of the UN. This petition is a plea for the UN to demonstrate staunch opposition against Israel's genocide, occupation, and apartheid in the State of Palestine.
