Hi everyone,
I'm from the village and have a child who goes to bramley infants school (preschool/nursery) due to covid we have to take our little ones to the gate on the Birtley Road a281 to allow them into the school. Parents have expressed their concerns of how dangerous this road is for our childrens safety, the school are doing Everything they can and are trying to follow guidelines and keep everyone safe in these current covid19 situation. We're wanting to petition for Surrey County Council to do something regarding this. I know all parents that are effected will do this but I'm wondering if the wider community would help as I'm sure other people in the community are effected too. I know how well bramley can come together as a community, I feel the more people that can do this the better. Not only does the traffic along that road effect children who go to the school but others who walk along there as the speed of the traffic is far to fast and something needs to be done before something serious happens. Suggestions some people have put through are maybe speed bumps, school slow signs and extra rails along that stretch of road. Together we can make that road safer as the great community we are.
