Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) chief Khadim Hussain Rizvi was arrested on Friday after the federal government ordered law enforcement agencies to begin a countrywide crackdown against the far-right religious outfit, it has emerged. Rizvi’s family confirmed that the police took him in custody, Samaa.TVreported. His son Saad told media persons that all district leaders of TLP along with his father were arrested from hujra. According to details, Rizvi was arrested in a joint operation by the local police, Elite Force and Dolphin Force at the Yateem Khana Rehmatallil Alameen Mosque after an approval by the federal cabinet.
