As covid 19's second wave hit India brutally,  the universities and colleges in India postponed their entrance exams. Some universities (mostly private) however conducted online exams and have already started filling their seats with students that have cleared the entrance exams. The students are forced to give the full fee right now when all the major universities have not even opened their applications. The refund policy is according to the UGC 2018 guidelines which clearly should not be applied to these unusual times. Supreme court last year laid out a rule in which the universities were forced to give the full refund of the admission fee. This petition is an appeal to the concerned authorities to reapply the same rules this time as well as Covid's impact is still going on, on the application process. Please sign this and don't lose out on your money. These universities (especially private) are trying to earn excess profits by taking advantage of the helplessness of students. This should be stopped. No one deserves this as people have lost their families and friends and most importantly extra college funds due to coronavirus. The universities should refund full fees until the admission process of all the universities is done.
