Please support my husband, our children, and ALL other injured workers!

Please demand the injury fund to be protected from misuse and demand they be used as they are intended!

Section 7(2)(b) of the WHSC Act, 2022.

     (b)  ensure that the intent of this Act and the regulations is being applied to provide services to injured workers and dependents; and

And Section 7(2)(c)

      (c)  promote adequate funding for the services through sound financial management.

If Alison Furey, the Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador's wife, is getting paid by the injury fund and is not providing a direct service to injured workers, her entire job is illegal.

Her title is "Senior Health Care Officer".  

This role was newly created in 2023 and is paid well above the CEO.  Her annual salary is recorded at $230,000 a year.  

100% NOT "sound financial management" and as there are injured workers, like my husband, who are being denied those services, it is shameful that the "adequate funding" that SHOULD be GUARANTEED to him, as per the law, is being spent on providing JOBS, that do not provide any service, to the NON-INJURED!

Canadians NEED TO DEMAND BETTER!

YOU OR YOUR LOVED ONE MAY BE THEIR NEXT INJURED VICTIM!

Is this something Canada should be "proud" of?  Because this makes me ashamed!  To know that Canada is accepting this corruption, our media is silent on this corruption, our opposition and 3rd party elected officials are silent on this corruption is devastating!
