You can still work to try and stop this by contacting Governor Cox BEFORE MONDAY to let him know the harm of this bill. Let him know your thoughts and request SB 180 does NOT go into effect. As we have shown time and time again the negligence in this bill will harm the assistant as well as the public.

SB180 will give an extraordinarily under-educated, unqualified, and unsafe group of individuals a functionally identical scope of practice to that of Licensed Massage Therapist.

A minimum entry point of 600 training hours already exists within the Utah laws and regulationsof Massage Therapy. Lowering the bar to 150 hours to START working on the public is simply not enough education. We need to STOP THIS NOW!
