Petition now closed but your support for Mohammed still matters

UPDATE 3-2-2026: We  have closed out Mohammed's petition of support and are submitting it to the political leaders addressed in the petition.

While it is too late for you to sign it now, it is not too late to give Mohammed and his family your support. Because Mohammed is an admitted WWU student, he would actually be in Bellingham with us now were it not for circumstances beyond his control. We are still trying to remove the barriers preventing him from accessing the scholarship he has earned and joining us here to complete his undergraduate education. We will do everything we can to make this happen, but whether or not this effort is successful, our commitment to Mohammed and his family will remain. 

Currently, donations have slowed down to an alarming degree, and conditions in Gaza have not improved, making Mohammed and his family’s survival vulnerable without more support from us. We ask you for your assistance in helping us find more people who will commit to being here for this family by sharing the link to their survival campaign, and giving what you can.
