All over Australia, more and more people are turning to tiny homes because conventional housing is no longer within reach.

Tiny homes are no longer a lifestyle fad. They're a vital part of the housing landscape, offering secure, affordable housing, financial freedom, sustainable living, and stronger communities.

But outdated planning rules and inconsistent regulations mean that many Australians struggle to live tiny legally. 

The Australian Tiny House Association wants to change that, by working with governments, councils and industry leaders. We want to see permanent living in tiny homes become legal and recognised as a viable housing option all over Australia. 

Put simply, tiny houses need to be part of Australia's housing solution.
