Wow! Thank you all!

I did this thinking it would go unnoticed. Boy was I wrong! In a little over 24 hours from my first share, we are getting close to 100 signatures! I know that there is a desire for this project in central VA, but I also figured that we were the silent majority. The minority opposition is definitely being the loudest and is currently having the greatest effect on our decision makers. It is extremely important that we show up and raise our voices to counter those few who oppose this. Be polite, be respectful, use your experience and data to counter their speculative comments on social media and to our leaders. More importantly, contact our board members, continue to share this petition, and let's show them that this project is a great idea to help keep Powhatan rural and preserve offroad recreation as a staple of rural living. I am so humbled at the level of support this has received in its first day! Thank you all! If you are in Powhatan or have friends/family in Powhatan, then please make it a point to inform them and invite them to help push this project during this critical time. The Planning Commision will hear this permit on July 7th at 6pm. The Board of Supervisors is scheduled to hear it on July 27th at 6pm. I look forward to seeing many faces at these hearings in support of this. Thank you all and let's kick it up a gear!
