Just a heads up that the petition, including all of your signatures, was printed out and presented to the WA Minister for Creative Industries, Simone McGurk, yesterday during a meeting about getting more funding support for the WA Comedy Industry.

The Minister was very receptive to our position and acknowledged many of the points with minimal pushback, which was very positive.

If you want to continue showing your support for WA Comedy, we just launched WA Comedy Week 2025, which runs August 18-23. It's time to laugh local!

I'm going to let the petition run in the background and get more signatures/awareness until we get a positive outcome on this for the WA Comedy Industry.
