We, the undersigned North Carolina Voters, call on our state lawmakers to pass House Bill 691 - The Voter Protection and Reliance Act.

This common-sense legislation protects our fundamental right to vote by ensuring that our ballots cast in good faith under the rules in place at the time of voting will be counted, without being tossed out because of legal changes or administrative conflict after the fact.

HB691 strengthens trust and integrity in our elections by:

• Preventing last-minute lawsuits from disenfranchising voters after they’ve already voted.
