The Apalachicola city commission voted 4-1 to approve the placement of a state historical marker recognizing abolitionist Moses Roper at Riverfront Park. Thanks to you, we had almost 500 signatures of support on the petition! Now that the location has been determined, the next step is to submit the marker application to Florida's Division of Historical Resources.
