If you are anywhere near Montgomery County, please see the attached flyer for a bike ride using the new lanes on Sunday, January 8. 

Please also continue to send emails to the following contacts. Continuing to put positive pressure in these key people is one of the most important things we can do right now. They need to hear from the people who support this life saving infrastructure.

Email the Montgomery County Council. They don’t control the road, but their support means a lot. 

Email your Maryland legislative delegation. They oversee the SHA in some capacity and can wield their power to continue the trend of safer arterials and state highways. 

Email the State Highway Administration, specifically the bikes department. They are the government organization that already solicited public feedback and then implemented this update to Old Georgetown Road.
