We, the undersigned, request the Marbella City Council to grant permission for caricature artists, portrait artists, and painters to carry out their work in the public spaces of our city.

Marbella is an international destination for culture, art, and tourism. Artistic activity in public spaces adds cultural value, attracts visitors, and enhances the experience of residents and tourists alike.

The Spanish Constitution, as well as various municipal regulations, recognize freedom of expression and the right to exercise a profession. Despite this, the Marbella City Council continues to deny artists the necessary permits to carry out their artistic work in the public sphere, even when it is done without amplifiers or disturbing passers-by.

Through this petition, we ask the Marbella City Council to reconsider its position and open a respectful dialogue with artists and their representatives, in order to find fair, transparent, and respectful solutions that guarantee the presence of quality artistic expression in our town.

Art is culture, culture is freedom. Marbella deserves living art in its public spaces - for the enjoyment of everyone.
