We’re devastated to share that despite the overwhelming community support, heartfelt testimonies, and all of our efforts through this campaign to Save Seasoul Sauna, the City of Kingston has officially decided NOT to renew our sublease at Mordialloc Sailing Club.

📄 We received a formal letter (attached) stating that our sublease will end on 1 December 2025, with no consideration given to the voices of the community. The Council have also offered no opportunity for Amy or even the Sailing Club to have a say in this.

After months of consultation, collaboration, and demonstrating the mental, physical, and emotional value that SeaSoul Sauna provides, we’ve been completely dismissed.

This isn’t just about a sauna. It’s about the community Amy has built in the MordiSea Dippers, the mental health sanctuary she has created, and the connection to land and water that has transformed lives. And now, the City of Kingston is shutting it down without transparency or accountability.

😡 We are hurt. We are angry. And we are not backing down.

👉 We’re launching a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for legal action. With your help, we will take the City of Kingston to VCAT and fight for what our community deserves; a fair process, transparency, and our right to remain.
