Day #8-9: Bhim Rudan update
We just posted this message to the Bhim Rudan marchers who are on their way back to Gujarat, their peaceful march for equality thwarted by the fear and insecurity of others:
"To all the Bhim Rudan marchers, to the thousands who welcomed them with joy all along the way, and to the thousands whose hopes for a better future were melded together into the coin of equality: While I am sure you are all disappointed that the coin may never be placed in the Parliament, you have nonetheless been successful in shining the light on the bane of untouchability.
"We from the diaspora are with you all the way in your continuing fight for true equality."
