Support The Jo(h)n's Act - Rapid Response to New Diseases and Enhanced Medical Coverage

The Issue

Jon and John, aka The Jo(h)n's, thank you for taking the time to learn about "Jo(h)n's Act".

This bill is a direct response to the unfortunate situation we have experienced with our long COVID-induced Fibrin Amyloid Microclots. We were forced to remortgage our house to cover the costs of seeking treatment abroad, while our government ignored the urgency surrounding this new disease. No Canadian should have to face a similar plight due to our government's slow response.

John went to our regions hospitals over 20 times, with Tachycardia events, each time they gaslit him saying he was fine. Our hospital went as far as to serve us legal letters to stop talking about our clots, stating it is too difficult on the staff of the Hospital to have to hear our story.

Jon was sentenced to DBT therapy to train him to move past his illness by the same hospital ceo that served them legal letters. Meanwhile clots tore apart his endothelial lining and robbed his brain of memories. His illness making it impossible to video game and watch movies due to tremors, anxiety and arthritic like pains.

We, kindly request your support for the Jo(h)n's Act and advocate for its swift enactment. Together, we can ensure efficient and compassionate healthcare for all Canadians, promote timely responses to emerging diseases, and prevent any further cases where citizens are compelled to seek care outside our borders. This Act will also ensure the Government re-imburses you when you are forced to go abroad. Every life matters and is worth saving.

All the best
