In a Santa Clara Family Court last week, Judge Grilli awarded one mom $40,000 for attorney fees, after a divorce was final and another mom whose divorce was not final $0 for fees. The cases had similar claims of fraud and misconduct ,the difference , the mom who got the award had an attorney Grilli liked asking . Judges in family law litigation are supposed to assure an equal playing field , which includes equal access to legal representation. In Grilli's court self represented parties are ignored and prejudiced by Grilli . She rolls her eyes, shuts down self represented parties and panders to her favorite lawyers, giving them $50,000 to $100,000 without good cause, a judicial kickback , or bribe. We demand an audit of these fee awards. It is judicial abuse at the highest level. It is time to stop the injustice that is clearly leveled against a certain group , or class of people, the self represented parties in Judge Grilli's court. Shame on the lawyers who have made a living trying to destroy a self represented opposing party, for profit.
