I survived clinical death, suffered severe burns, and lost my arm. But I stayed alive — and chose to build instead of complain. I am not an observer. Today, I am the initiator of the SeaX project because I understand how important it is for people with disabilities to have free and safe access to natural water: oceans, lakes, rivers, and pools. This project is not about pity — it’s about solutions. About action.

SeaX aims to ensure universal access to water bodies for people with disabilities, guaranteeing their safety and independence. As the United States prepares to host the 2028 Paralympic Games, it is essential to set new standards of accessibility and inclusion. Implementing the SeaX system can position the U.S. as a global leader in providing barrier-free, dignified access to water — beyond current infrastructure limitations.

The proposed system will be manufactured in the USA — with direct involvement of people with disabilities in its development and assembly. This will create jobs and make their needs an integral part of the design. SeaX is truly a project “by people with disabilities — for people with disabilities.”

Statistics confirm the scale of the problem: according to the World Health Organization, more than 1 billion people — around 15% of the world’s population — live with some form of disability. Access to water is a fundamental right, yet millions remain excluded due to infrastructural barriers. SeaX offers a practical and effective solution to close this gap.
