What’s at stake
Wild Earth Conservancy’s vision is to change that — starting in the United States, but designed for the world. The Wildlife Eco-Village will be the first of its kind: a self-sustaining campus that unites wildlife rehabilitation, endangered species breeding, ecological research, and environmental education. Each center will focus on a different group of species — birds, mammals, aquatic life, predators — powered by renewable energy and connected through a living corridor of restored habitat. Once proven in the Carolinas, this model can be replicated globally — from savannas to rainforests — creating jobs, restoring ecosystems, and giving wildlife a fighting chance everywhere.

Why now
