We are collecting expressions of interest to evaluate the feasibility of a direct air connection between Pescara (PSR) and Geneva (GVA).

At present, passengers traveling between the Abruzzo region and the Geneva/Vaud area must rely on indirect connections via other Italian or European hubs. This results in longer travel times, higher costs, and reduced accessibility for residents, professionals, students, and families.

A direct PSR–GVA route would:

• improve mobility for people traveling for work, study, or family reasons,
• strengthen business, academic, and institutional connections between Italy and Switzerland,
• support tourism in both regions.

This initiative is intended as a market interest assessment, not as a protest or political request.
Signing this petition does not represent a binding commitment to purchase a ticket. Its purpose is to demonstrate real and measurable passenger demand for this route.

The results of this petition, together with a short passenger survey, will be shared with:

• Pescara Airport (PSR),

A representative personal example
My personal situation is simple and representative of a much broader reality.

My family lives near Pescara Airport, while I live and work in Lausanne. Each time I try to visit my parents, I am forced to plan a long and complex journey involving indirect flights, extended travel times, and increased costs. What should be a straightforward trip often becomes unnecessarily exhausting.

A direct flight between Pescara and Geneva would significantly simplify this journey. However, this situation is far from unique. It reflects the experience of many Italians living and working in Switzerland who wish to maintain strong personal, cultural, and professional ties with their region of origin.
