The El Corazón District, located on the east side of Austin, Texas, extending from I-35 to Pleasant Valley Road, is envisioned as a vibrant and interconnected creative corridor where arts, culture, and everyday life intersect. Building on the foundation established by the economic district founded in 2018, the cultural district formalizes and amplifies the area’s long-standing role as a center for artistic production and cultural expression.

The district benefits the community by:
