The Calhoun Community Swimming Pool has been a staple in Calhoun County for over 30 years. The pool has continually provided low-cost recreation to nearby residents and hosts dozens of "free swim" days each year due to continued community support. Sadly, the pool has been made inoperable due to several ongoing issues.

The Calhoun County Pool Association is applying for grant funds to make the pool not only operational, but improved and more accessible. The improvements could include:

• New Pool Liner
• Upgraded Bathhouse
• New Filter Equipment
• ADA Lift into Water
• New Parking
• Improved Deck
• Piping and Vacuum Improvements
