The Australia Post shop (Postmart +) located inside the Alfred Hospital is currently up for tender. The Alfred Hospital doesn't want PO Boxes, but it is a part of Australia Post. If the PO boxes are removed, then Australia Post will go also. This is a very convenient service for Alfred Hospital employees due to the hours and location. To lose this vital service would be such a loss to the Alfred community.
