SIGN & SUPPORT PETITON  
FOR TASTE OF BROOKLYN TO CONTINUE TO STAY OPEN 
The goal of this petition is to gather enough support and signatures to urge the city of Syracuse to consider matters and concerns then pursue action. 
 
The issue that the Taste of Brooklyn is challenged with is public parking lot safety. During our operating times we have absolutely no support when it comes to policing of the public parking lot.  With no policing in support of the parking lot it is difficult to provide safety, this disturbance affects the well-being of innocent people who want to come to our establishment and enjoy themselves just like they would at any other business.  
The Taste of Brooklyn sports bar and restaurant wish to bring to your attention concerns regarding issues that have been affecting our small business and affecting the public and community. Although this plaza can be challenging and no stranger to crimes including theft, since we been established larceny and crime has lowered with fellow business mentioning the benefits they have gained since we arrived. The Taste of Brooklyn has also been a mediator and conflict resolver in potential altercations. However, we need support to help eliminate any incident that may potentially happen in the parking lot.  
This issue needs to be fixed immediately for the safety of the people and the community and the safety of Taste of Brooklyn.  
T.O.B only considered moving into the Valley Plaza because it was recommended to have an efficiently sized parking lot to help maintain our business and expected capabilities. With this location next to the Syracuse police station we hoped with intent crime would be controlled to help keep our staff, customers and the public safe.  
T.O.B is all for the community and takes extreme measures and proper precautions to ensure a safe environment. However, lately we have been the center of attraction for incidents we cannot control with no support with the parking lot for our business and the culture located at 4141 south salina street. 
Change is necessary with realistic goals to be put in place. We need the city of Syracuse to listen and take our business into sincere consideration for the policing of the public parking lot in the valley plaza during Taste of Brooklyn Sports Bar operating hours.  
Also, please keep in mind that T.O.B has brought a tremendous amount of employment and opportunity to the community. We have employed over 30 individuals at our sports bar ranging from the cleaning staff, bartenders, cooks, parking lot maintenance, Grub Hub, Door Dash and a private security company.
