Support school choice for Pennsylvania
The Issue
Growing up in Pennsylvania, I witnessed firsthand the struggles many families face when it comes to accessing a high-quality education for their children. I strongly believe that school choice is a fundamental right, and that every family in Pennsylvania should have the freedom to choose the educational path that best meets their child's unique needs, regardless of their ZIP code or economic circumstances.
In Pennsylvania, our current education system often limits families to schools based solely on where they live, restricting opportunities for many students to reach their full potential. School choice—including public charter schools, cyber charter schools, career and technical education, homeschooling, scholarship programs, and other educational options—empowers parents to select the learning environment that best fits their child's individual strengths, interests, and learning style.
Pennsylvania is home to students with diverse talents, dreams, and needs. A one-size-fits-all approach to education cannot adequately serve every child. When families have meaningful educational options, students are better positioned to succeed, and parents become active partners in their children's education.
Educational opportunity is especially important for students from underserved communities and families facing financial barriers. Expanding educational choice helps ensure that more children have access to learning environments where they can thrive and achieve their fullest potential.
We urge Pennsylvania's elected leaders to prioritize policies that expand educational opportunities for every family. Together, we can build an education system that is more equitable, more responsive, and more focused on student success.
Please sign this petition to demonstrate your support for educational opportunity in Pennsylvania. Your voice can help create a future where every child has access to a high-quality education and every parent has the freedom to choose the educational environment that best serves their child.
