VICTORY FOR PARKSHORE PARK PICKLEBALL! WE DID IT!
What an incredible example of the power of community!
Thanks to the overwhelming support of our Parkshore, West Ashley, and Charleston neighbors, we have something wonderful to celebrate! Our efforts to bring public pickleball courts to Parkshore Park have made a difference!
THANK YOU to everyone who signed our petition, shared it with friends and neighbors, contacted City Council, attended meetings, and spoke up in support of this exciting addition to our park!
This has always been about more than pickleball. It’s about bringing people together, encouraging healthy and active lifestyles, and creating a welcoming recreational amenity for families, seniors, and players of all ages.
A special thank-you to Mayor Cogswell, Charleston City Council, and City of Charleston Parks and Recreation for listening to our community and working toward a plan for Parkshore Park.
Our community’s efforts are making news! Read the coverage in The Post and Courier.
We look forward to seeing neighbors, friends, and families enjoying pickleball at Parkshore Park for years to come!
When a community comes together, great things can happen!
With gratitude,
Ashley
