My name is Patty Vazquez, and I am asking for your support to place my name on the ballot for President-Elect of the Merced County Association of REALTORS®.

As the current YPN Chair, a participant in YPN at the state level, and a member of our Board of Directors, I have made it a priority to serve, connect, and create opportunities for our members. Having attended C.A.R. meetings three times a year for the past several years, I have gained valuable experience and a deeper understanding of the challenges facing our industry and the responsibilities of association leadership.

I am also a mother of two, a part-time student, and a full-time REALTOR® who believes that making a difference requires more than good intentions. It requires showing up, putting in the work, and following through.

As a proud Hispanic woman, I believe representation matters. It has been years since our association has had a woman or Hispanic president. Our leadership should reflect the diversity of the members and communities we represent.

But I am not asking for this opportunity because of my background. I am asking because I have worked to prepare for it.

I have the drive to get things done, the passion to serve, and the purpose to leave our association better than I found it. I believe in leadership that listens, brings people together, and turns ideas into action.

Today, I am not asking for your vote, but for the opportunity to earn it. By signing this petition, you are not only supporting my opportunity to be considered for President-Elect, but also helping ensure that our members have a choice and a voice in shaping the future of our association.
