The Park City Professional Ski Patrol Association (PCPSPA) is asking for your support! As professional ski patrollers and mountain safety at Park City Mountain Resort, we love creating safe and memorable experiences for guests. You can find us on the mountain providing first aid and rescue, performing avalanche mitigation, setting up rope lines, assisting guests, and so much more. 

Our Union, the Park City Professional Ski Patrol Association, and Vail Resorts have held 21 negotiating meetings since May to bargain for a fair contract. Unfortunately, the latest economic counteroffer presented by Vail Resorts was deeply disappointing. The counteroffer includes no change to wages for the majority of our bargaining unit.

PCPSPA remains steadfast in its commitment to achieving a fair contract that reflects the skilled work performed by ski patrollers and mountain safety and recognizes the increasing cost of living throughout the Wasatch. PCPSPA additionally emphasizes the importance of reaching an agreement that adequately compensates our most tenured coworkers and the invaluable skills they bring to the team. We believe fair pay is not just monetary compensation, it's about respect and safety. 

Our goals for this contract include (but are not limited to) the following:

• Base rate of $23/hr, in line with cost of inflation.
• Adequate compensation for our most tenured and experienced patrollers.
• Improved benefits and educational opportunities.
