Hey Robbinsville: Stay Informed to help Our School District Teachers and Staff!

Dear Robbinsville Parents, Teachers, Staff, Students, and Residents,  

Unfortunately, our Robbinsville Teacher's contract is moving into the Fact-Finding phase with the state as a settlement could not be reached between the Board of Education and our Teacher's Union during the mediation phase.  This means that our Robbinsville Teachers and Staff are currently working with no settled contract, and their salaries are frozen from the previous year.  When a teacher's contract moves into Fact Finding, it could take a year before an agreement is reached. Negotiations, however, can continue between the BOE and our Teacher's Union in parallel to Fact Finding. Our Teacher's Union, during public comment at BOE meetings, has expressed interest in continuing those discussions. 

Here's the good news - you can be part of the solution! 

The Robbinsville Board of Education has 3 open seats up this November 8th. Listed below is how you can take action and contribute to the solution.  Please share this information with everyone in your household. Every Vote Counts!

Action Step #1: Be Informed

The Robbinsville Board of Education is comprised of 9 board members, each with a 3-year term. The terms are staggered so that some of its members rotate on and off each year. In other words, there are 3 open seats every November election (unless there is a resignation mid-term).

Action Step #2: Spread the Word

Tell a Robbinsville community friend or neighbor about the structure of the board and remind them about the upcoming BOE election in November (and every November thereafter).
