5 Years Since the School Closures & "15 Days" Our Documentary is Almost Ready for Prime Time!
Can you believe we are fast approaching the 5th anniversary of America's school closures, when everything was taken away from our children, in one fell swoop. As I think back to those dark days, I am heartened and grateful that you stood up at a time when America's kids needed you most. Thank you for joining us in the fight to restore normalcy for kids after many months of masking and other terrible restrictions. Your support made helped prioritize children during the darkest times of their lives.
I'm excited to share a new chapter in our open schools journey. My documentary film "15 Days: The Real Story of America's School Closures," which has been three years in the making, is nearly complete (though, as with any film, you finish it 36 times before it is actually, truly, really ready). The film captures the raw truth of the school closures - the chaos, the unions' overreach, and the relentless fight to bring normalcy back.
I was determined to protect the history, not watch as it was rewritten by the teachers unions.
