Thank you again for supporting the petition seeking to have the Department of Agriculture in Ireland reconsider its decision to approve the Horse Sport Ireland (HSI) tender application submitted in 2022 to operate the mother Irish Cob Studbook and to reconsider the Irish Cob Registry of Ireland (ICS) tender application submitted by me in 2022 to operate the mother Irish Cob Studbook. However, even though I contacted the Department in December 2014 seeking to have them reconsider the ICRI application I heard nothing back.

So, because I am the author of the Irish Cob Breed Standard on which the Irish Cob Studbook is based (and without which the mother Irish Cob Studbook would therefore not exist), I today submitted a number of documents to the Minister for Agriculture seeking recovery of my intellectual property (the Irish Cob Breed Standard and the mother Irish Cob Studbook). On return of my intellectual property, I would establish a new breed society that the Minister should approve to maintain the mother Irish Cob Studbook (therefore on my behalf as the privately created and privately owned studbook it is).
