Hello supporters!

I wanted to share some news with you. This morning, our community's efforts are the headline story at Ohio Capitol Journal. You can read the full story at this link. It's worth noting that this reporter talked to Sen. Brenner and Rep. Kick, and Brenner drew a comparison to Senate Bill 52, the legislation approved in 2021 allowing counties to restrict solar or wind developments on unincorporated land. He said, “I’ve supported dealing with the wind and solar — allowing counties (to have) jurisdiction. I would be open to something like that." 

Let's encourage Sen. Brenner (and Rep. Kick) to run with that idea and propose legislation that would support consent-based siting of injection wells. Please reach out and encourage them to do so this week:
