Hello petition supporters!

I’ve just learned that the Ohio EPA is currently reviewing the rules that govern our state’s underground injection programs. As part of the rulemaking process, the Agency is required by the Ohio Revised Code to consult with organizations that represent political subdivisions, environmental interests, business interests, and others affected by these rules. 

That’s you! And this petition offers many ideas for specific changes to the rules. Please consider submitting comments that request the rule changes you feel are most pressing (or you could just copy the proposals in the open letter). You can review the current rules here. Comments can be submitted by email to ddagw_rulecomments@epa.ohio.gov. Comments should be received at the above address by the close of business, February 19th, 2024.
