Hello supporters of the Cabin Village!
Mayor Gilman plans to ask the city council to ratify the previous decision, to locate the Cabin Village at the Public Works Yard. The meeting will be on March 25th at 6pm, at Kent Hall.
This will be our last chance to lobby for the yard, so please plan to:
- Write public comment letters of support. Brief statements of support are sufficient. Email your comments to cityclerk@ojai.ca.gov by 3pm on March 24th.
- Plan to attend, to deliver your public comment in person. A brief statement of support is all that is required.
- Join the meeting via ZOOM, you can raise your hand to request to speak. The clerk will call upon you to speak at the appropriate time. The ZOOM link will be available when the city sends out the agenda for the meeting.
Green Coalition Workshop
Ojai's City Hall has eight acres full of possibilities. A series of community gatherings in 2023-24 resulted in a clear direction: that this site should be a place for nature-based activities, including workshops, classes, educational demonstrations and gatherings.
You’re invited….“Envisioning Ojai City Hall Campus: An Interactive Planning Workshop” to be held March 20th, 5-8pm at the Ojai Retreat, 160 Besant Rd. Pizza will be served. Contributions of other refreshments are welcome.
Registration is required, and space is limited. Parking will be limited. Please carpool if you can. Register using the link below:
