Friends, I'm sitting here trying to understand why we only have 403 signatures on our new petition. We can't do this alone - and desperately need you to sign and share it. We'll be delivering it in November when the common council and mayor talk about the city budget. You have the power to make change, you really do! I know you may not realize it, but your voice does matter. We gain nothing from these efforts - except that we have to live in this city. Aside from a few Madison police officers we now call our friends, and long-time friends who serve with the Chicago PD, it would be so easy to just walk away. --Paula Fitzsimmons
