Salutations Church Heads!
This last year we were lucky enough to host a variety of shows and events at our old location, you probably came to one of them, otherwise you wouldn't be receiving this.
We had some amazing bands such as Drain, Scowl, Espiritmo, Perch, the Flytones, Floratura (formerly Tatiana Treetops) , The Monkeyhands, Desiree Canon, Joe kaplow, Dead Nettles, Superblume, and a league of others.
We had some epic events such as Art Nights, Art Markets, Art Sales, Rummage Sales, Board Meetings, Witch Hunts, Game Nights, and some truly memorable birthday jams.
While we may have moved on from our original namesake location, we have not moved on from our core ideals and goals of creating and maintaining safe spaces for the artistically inclined to conceive, develop, and present their creations to the general public.
Since the years wrapped, we decided it was probably time for an update for our massive fan base of disenchanted aspiring expressionists apprehending and confronting a stark bewildering reality of fragmentation and emotional displacement. But enough about me.
We are currently working in conjunction with Liminal Space Collective o throw the Northern Lights Community Art Event on Friday and Saturday January 13th and 14th, which entails making creative use of the circle church at 111 erret circle in santa cruz for the next month, before it succumbs to the ruthless blows of capitalism when it gets demolished in February.
There will be around a dozen musical acts including Mokiliwa, Floratura, Andy Pankakes, and Monkeyhands, on Friday, and Trianna Feruza, Microtiger, and the Flytones on Saturday.
