Dear Supporter of 9/11 transparency:

Barring unforeseen developments, the Lawyers Committee for 9/11 Inquiry plans to file a federal lawsuit by September 11.  The suit will ask a federal court to direct the Justice Department to initiate a grand jury investigation of evidence that explosive devices were used to destroy buildings at the World Trade Center.  .

-- Litigation Director Mick Harrison will travel to New York and Washington to file and publicize this action in connection with the seventeenth anniversary of the event;

-- The 9/11 Truth Action Project (a separate organization) is coordinating vigils in some 20 cities around the country and abroad in support of the Lawyers action.

An anonymous donor has offered to give up to $1,000 to the Committee, matching contributions made by others between today and Sept. 15.  He will donate $1 for every $4 donated by others during that time period.  PLEASE HELP NOW, at this critical time.

Donations may also be used to pursue important Freedom of Information Act appeals.
