We Have a Request!

Woori Juntos is excited to learn from community members, including im/migrant and the Asian diaspora, about language justice needs, solutions, and actions AND to uplift their stories through various media outlets.

We have a request!

After meeting legislators to be co or joint authors of our bills, a few have pointed to wanting to see the constituent need for our policy, especially in Richmond, Texas (Fort Bend County). We're thinking of conducting a phone/email zap with constituents of target legislators and/or mobilizing community members to visit those legislators. In the meantime, we also created a change petition to collect signatures to show the macro scale of folks who care about language justice!

2. If you know folks in HD26 (Rep. Jacey Jetton) and Ft. Bend County who would support this, please share with them!
