Honorable members of The Glen Rock Borough Council,

We, the undersigned residents and community members, respectfully petition the Glen Rock Borough Council to honor and expedite the disbursement of the previously allocated grant for Krebs Park. This funding is crucial for the enhancement of our community, and overall improvement of the downtown area, the park would serve as a vital green space for recreation, community gatherings, and environmental sustainability.

Krebs Park would be more than just a public space; it would become a cornerstone of our community that promotes health, well-being, and social cohesion.  Additionally, it would be a keystone of renewal and rehabilitation in the downtown area. Delaying or denying the grant's fulfillment hampers other essential projects and additional funding that would benefit children, families, businesses and all residents of Glen Rock.

We understand that there is a funding shortage that is necessary to overcome.  We believe there are options and requests that can be made from other funding entities to make up that shortfall.  We urge the council to prioritize this matter and ensure that the grant is fully executed as planned. Your support will directly impact the quality of life in our community and demonstrate the council’s commitment to preserving and enhancing our valued public spaces.
