Colorado legislature is considering a bill: "Legalizing Minors Businesses" .

This bill will make occasional lemonade stands and other kids businesses (think lawn mowing, bake sales, tshirt making...anything!) legal without the red tape of permits and unnecessary restrictions. Our kids deserve this protection in Colorado, and across the country too! 

After my kids neighborhood lemonade stand was shut down by police last summer due to a complaint and a lack of three permits (permits?! we had no idea!) required for kids lemonade stands in Denver, we took a stand. As of September 2018, kids lemonade stands are now legal in Denver!  Now we are working on better supporting kids across Colorado! Utah currently has a similar legislation, and Texas and New York are working towards similar causes this year!
