Hamas attacked Israeli civilians on October 7th in an unprovoked surprise attack. Over 1,000 Israelis have been killed since October 7th. Hamas also kidnapped over 200 innocent hostages and brought them into Gaza. 

We urge the United Nations to recognize what's going on in Israel and we encourage you to focus on your Sustainable Development Goal #16, to Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels. Please help Israel return to their peaceful state by encouraging Hamas to stop attacking Israel with rockets and to return the hostages unharmed.
