Who is impacted?
Everyone in Ogden Valley knows how limited our dining options are. Southfork Village once had restaurants like Subway and The Brass Lamp Bistro, but for years this space has sat empty. Families, visitors, and locals alike are impacted — whether it’s parents looking for a quick meal after school sports, tourists stopping on their way to the lake, or neighbors who simply want more variety without driving out of the valley.

What is at stake?
Hooked Fish & Chips is ready to bring a family-owned restaurant back to Southfork Village, investing tens of thousands of dollars and creating jobs right here in Huntsville. But right now, health department red tape is blocking this opening — despite the fact that restaurants have operated in this exact space for over a decade without issue. If the application denial stands, the community loses out on food choices, jobs, and a gathering spot we badly need.

Why is now the time to act?
We cannot afford to lose this opportunity. The Morris family has poured their heart, soul, and savings into bringing quality food to our valley, and they need community support to ensure this dream becomes a reality. By signing this petition, you’re sending a clear message: Ogden Valley wants and deserves Hooked Fish & Chips at Southfork Village. Let’s stand together and show the Health Department and county leaders that our community is ready for this restaurant now. Signatures will be presented at an upcoming appeal conference.
