AJ’s Tacos is more than just a local eatery; it's a cornerstone of our community in heart of the west side of Columbus. The mural we propose would celebrate Hispanic culture and uplift not only a business but the surrounding community. Murals can help bring light to showcase the hearts that live within our community. They anchor identity, help businesses thrive and uplift surrounding spirits. However, to bring this vision to life, we need the support of a city grant.

You can help us by signing this petition to show your support.

We are working with the Hearts Aligned youth program and local muralist Lisa Celeste to obtain a grant. By signing, you are showing your support to help us potentially secure these funds, to create a mural that will stand as a testament to our vibrant and culturally rich community, attracting both locals and visitors, and fostering economic growth.

This city grant represents an opportunity to not only create a beautiful piece of art but also to support local talent and business. By allowing our team to receive the necessary funding, we support the local economy and give back to our community by fostering spaces where art, life, and community intersect.

We call upon the city council and relevant authorities to consider the support through this thread in their decision making of the grant application for this mural project. Let us come together to turn AJ's Tacos into a beacon of art to showcase culture and community welfare.  Sign this petition to endorse this project and contribute to the cultural enrichment of our wonderful community. Your signature can make all the difference.
