We, the undersigned, know Peyman Mazaheri Tehrani personally and affirm that he is a member of the LGBT community.

Peyman has already faced rejection in his Canadian resettlement application due to credibility concerns. However, as people who know him directly, we testify that his LGBT identity is genuine and undeniable.

In addition to his identity, Peyman is living with HIV. He has been under medical treatment, but in Turkey he is now at risk of losing access to his essential medication. Without continuous treatment, his health and even his life are in imminent danger.

Denying him protection not only exposes him to severe persecution and discrimination because of his LGBT identity, but also places him at life-threatening medical risk due to lack of treatment.

We call on the Government of Canada and relevant authorities to urgently reconsider Peyman’s case with full recognition of both his LGBT identity and his medical needs. His right to safety, dignity, and access to healthcare must not be denied.

By signing this petition, we express our solidarity with Peyman and confirm our support for his right to live freely, safely, and with access to the medical care he urgently requires.

حمایت از پرونده پناهندگی پیمان مظاهری – تأیید هویت LGBT و نیازهای پزشکی او

ما، امضاکنندگان این درخواست، پیمان مظاهری تهرانی را شخصاً می‌شناسیم و تأیید می‌کنیم که او عضو جامعه LGBT است.

پرونده‌ی پیمان برای اسکان در کانادا به دلیل نگرانی‌هایی رد شده است، اما ما که او را به طور مستقیم می‌شناسیم شهادت می‌دهیم که هویت LGBT او واقعی و غیرقابل انکار است.

علاوه بر این، پیمان با بیماری HIV زندگی می‌کند. او تا امروز تحت درمان دارویی بوده است، اما در ترکیه به زودی دسترسی‌اش به داروهای حیاتی قطع خواهد شد. بدون ادامه درمان، سلامت و حتی جان او در معرض خطر جدی قرار دارد.

رد کردن درخواست او نه تنها او را در برابر تبعیض و آزار شدید به دلیل هویت LGBT قرار می‌دهد، بلکه جان او را نیز به دلیل قطع دسترسی به درمان پزشکی به خطر می‌اندازد.

ما از دولت کانادا و مقامات ذی‌ربط درخواست می‌کنیم که پرونده پیمان را فوراً و با در نظر گرفتن هویت LGBT و نیازهای پزشکی حیاتی او بازنگری کنند. حق او برای امنیت، کرامت انسانی و دسترسی به درمان نباید نادیده گرفته شود.

با امضای این پتیشن، ما همبستگی خود را با پیمان ابراز می‌کنیم و از حق او برای زندگی آزاد، امن و با دسترسی به درمان حیاتی، حمایت می‌کنیم.
