Meeting Details

The meeting with Dr. Harada went well. He was receptive to our concerns and pleased to witness the vehement support students have shown for Dr. Liets. He let us know that he will be looking into Dr. Liets' contract to ensure she complete her full twenty years of employment at the university. He did, however, emphasize the temporary nature of the lecturer position, something we cannot exactly change. Our next step is to contact the vice chair of teaching for the NPB department to express our support for Dr. Liets to him directly and inquire after the possibility of ensuring the extension of Dr. Liets' contract beyond her 20 years.
